The William Pierce Price Society
By formal action at their meeting on November 9, 2007, the trustees of the North Georgia College & State University Foundation, Inc., established a planned giving recognition society called the William Pierce Price Society, commemorating the commitment and service of the university's founder to establish and support a college in Dahlonega, and his legacy represented in the generations of citizens and public servants who have been educated there. Charter membership was available until June 30, 2009, with invitations for general membership available thereafter.
