Bio:

Dowling has been at NGCSU for 3 years. He is a native from Pensacola, Florida and graduated from Pensacola High School in 1961. He received a B.S. degree in Accounting from the University of West Florida in 1980. Dowling is a member of the Florida Institute of CPAs and the American Institute of CPAs and was a partner in a CPA firm for over 15 years.

Responsibilities:

Dowling maintains a complete automated fund accounting system, which includes cash receipts, general ledger, accounts payable and budget management subsystems. He also deposits all receipts, codes payment vouchers, prepares checks for all expenditures, enters credit card transactions, and balances and reconciles checking accounts, and prepares financial statements and state/federal tax reports, as well as, coordinates independent audit and verifies Federal Return (Form 990) and audit report.
