The Alumni Center
We have moved!
Due to changes on campus to accommodate new residence halls for an expanding Corps of Cadets, the Office of Institutional Advancement, including Alumni Relations, has moved from the former Alumni Center to the 3rd floor of the Downtown Office Building (also home to BB&T Bank) at 60 West Main Street - across from the historic Holly Theater. Please visit us in our new location!
All of our phone numbers will stay the same, but our mailing address has changed to: P. O. Box 1599, Dahlonega, GA 30533.
For the first 40+ years of its existence, the Alumni Center served as home to university Presidents Merritt E. Hoag (1950-1970) and John H. Owen (1970-1992). In 1992, it became home to the university's Office of Institutional Advancement, which includes Alumni Relations, Development, University Relations, the NGCSU Alumni Association, and the NGCSU Foundation.
With the ongoing expansion of the Corps of Cadets, this building will now be home to direct support services for the Corps. Initially, it will be occupied by elements of the Commandant's staff, and the offices for the NGCSU detachments of the Georgia Army National Guard and US Army Reserve. This will allow these support services to operate in close proximity to the cadets they serve.
