NGCSU Alumni Association, Inc. - Gerald Lord, Interim Director
Since
1971, the NGCSU Alumni Association is a separately incorporated,
non-profit organization that serves to promote social interaction among
its members and promote the interest and welfare of the university.
The Association is a dues paying organization governed by an 18 member
volunteer Alumni Council, and administered by university staff under
authority of the Alumni Council.
NGCSU Foundation, Inc. - Dr. Andrew J. Leavitt, Executive Director
Since
1959, the NGCSU Foundation, Inc. is a separately incorporated,
non-profit organization that is designated by the university to
receive, invest and manage non-governmental, charitable gifts and
grants on behalf of North Georgia. The Foundation is governed by a
volunteer Board of Trustees, and administered by university staff under
authority of the Board of Trustees.
Development (The Field Team) - Jeff Boggan, Team Leader
The
Development Office manages the official fundraising programs of the
university, to encourage philanthropy from individuals, corporations
and foundations on behalf of North Georgia. Development officers, who are assigned specific geographic regions of responsibility, also help coordinate alumni and public relations activities within their assigned regions.
University Relations (The Program Team) - Kate Maine, Team Leader
University
Relations supports and advances the mission and reputation of the university
through a broad array of communication services, including publications, media
relations, marketing, and design services. The team also includes the Office of Alumni Relations, which serves as a link between fellow alumni (graduates and former matriculates) and the university through alumni and university programming. The team also provides administrative support to the NGCSU Alumni Council & the NGCSU Alumni Association, Inc. Team members also coordinate various fundraising programs, including direct mail solicitations for the North Georgia Fund and the Alumni Association, and the annual telephone campaign.
Advancement Information (The Information Team) - Pam Stoffel, Team Leader
Members of the Advancement Information team support all advancement functions by managing a comprehensive database of alumni and donor records, gift records, and records of fund agreements. Team members also provide accounting services for the NGCSU Foundation, Inc. and the NGCSU Alumni Association, Inc.
